Brizzly makes Twitter a Breeze! Web interface simplifies Twitter experience.

Have you heard the buzz about Brizzly?  I had heard about this cool new web interface for Twitter in a couple of online forums.  Thanks to the good folks at ReadWriteWeb, I had the chance to try it out.  Brizzly is still in testing phase and is open by invitation only.  Read on, however,  and get a chance to try it for yourselves.

So what is Brizzly?  Well, if you have ever found it difficult to keep up with all that happening on Twitter at any given moment, then Brizzly might just be the answer to the chaos. Brizzly is a web-based system that presents Twitter to you in a way that makes its logical, digestible, and easily manageable.  In essence, it simplifies Twitter.  Brizzly separates your timeline from tweets being sent directly to you. It allows you to respond to those direct tweets in a chat-like format that makes it easy to do.  Brizzly also allows you to create groups, save searches, and even track up to 5 Twitter accounts at once.  That's not all.  It has some truly elegant features for those who want to get the most out of Twitter without all of the fuss.  Just to name a few:

  • Inline Images and Videos:  When you are in Brizzly, pictures and videos actually show up inline, meaning right there on the screen, in the posting.  No need to click out to see those pictures or videos elsewhere.  Very cool!
  • Muting Tweeters:  If you want to suspend a person's tweets for a bit, you can set them to "Mute" and not be bothered until you unmute them.  Don't you wish life came with a mute button?
  • Trends Explained:  Have you ever wondered why some of those "hashtags" on Twitter are so popular, or "trending" as they say?  Well, Brizzly not only shows you what is trending, but also supplies a short explanation as to why!  Now that's a value-added feature!

Brizzly will be debuting soon.  When it does it will be free.  Also, Twitter is just the tip of the iceberg.  The minds behind Brizzly hope to soon incorporate other social networking services.  This could get very interesting!

iBraryGuy has 10 invitations to share.  If you'd like to take Brizzly for a test drive, keep your eyes on iBraryGuy's Twitter feed starting at noon (Central Time) tomorrow.  I will send out a code good for the first 10 signups!
